hi guys welcome back to another video you are looking at the tutorial for today it is with yarn spiration scar and you will be using lilly sugar and cream yarn you will be used in three colors you can use whatever colors you choose and you will be using a size H or five millimeter crochet hook and we will be doing a corner to corner dishcloth so this is the fad going right now with crochet work and I hope you enjoy this tutorial so go to your inspirations calm and look up this pattern so that you will have it in front of you or print this off so that we can have this work together in front of us so go get your your pattern your hook and whatever three colors of yarn you want to work this pattern and a pair of scissors and a yarn needle and I'll be right back with you and we'll work this pattern together because we are going to work on the lily sugar and cream a corner-to-corner dishcloth and it is from yarn spiration calm I did do a sample one and this is in the oatmeal color it does have some olive green brown and burnt orange in it and this was just a simple piece that I did and I did this in the more solid color so the one I'm going to do today I will have as the three colored one so you can see the stripes in it so I will be working with the it is still like an oatmeal color but it does have like the purple like a a pink a blue in it and then I'm also going to incorporate a peach color with it so I'm just going to take the papers off while I'm doing this and then I'm also going to have a purple along with that so the color I'm going to start with I'm going to start with my cone here so let's find a start point that's not my starting point so here we go with this okay and I am going to use my five hook and this is one my hooks that I have made I've shown this one before and it is a five millimeter and you can see all of my clay hook products on my business page at stitching Stacy's crochet and I will have that link in the description box below so for the first thing you want to do for this pattern this is a growing trend in a crochet very very fast growing trend because the pattern itself works up very quickly and not sure about you but a lot of people today want something that works up very quickly something that grows very quickly and that's what the corner-to-corner projects seem to do so people like that okay so the first thing you want to do with this project is you want to chain 6 with your main color so 2 3 4 5 and 6 and you will be working in six groups of six quite a bit ok so now in Row 1 you're going to double crochet in the 4th from the hook so 1 2 3 & 4 so you're going to double crochet in that 4th from the hook and you will continue to double crochet in those next two chains down so you overall you will have including that first chain 3 you will basically have 4 double crochet all together ok so just like that 1 2 3 4 now what you want to do is you just want to turn that over ok so that's going to be your first block now what you're going to do is round 2 according to the pattern you will chain another 6 alright so 3 4 5 & 6 and now at this point you're going to do what we just did you're going to count down 4 and you're going to do double crochet into that fourth chain from the hook and then down in the next - just like we did on this previous block okay now what you're going to do at this point is you're going to go into this beginning chain space here and you're going to do a slip stitch so you've joined those two blocks okay and then what you're going to do is do a chain three okay and then you're going to do three double crochet here so you can make this your third block so there's three and there's four okay so see that was very simple and that just went very quickly all right so now what you're going to do is you're going to turn this back alright so you've got basically like a little v-shape so now three Row three and yes you're already up to three is you're going to do another chain six one two three four five and six okay so you're going to work back down one two three four into the fourth chain from the hook and do a double crochet here let me unwind my yarn here alright and then you're going to go into the next two double crochet like we were doing so one and two all right now whoops what helps holding it wrong now you're going to jump into this next gap and then you're going to do a slip stitch and chain three because now you're going to have to work that next block so to make that next block you got to put in three double crochet here because that chain three is one of those double crochet because you got to have four double crochet to equal a block and that beginning chain three is one of those double crochet okay but now you've got to connect these so you've got to also jump over here to this one and connect it with a slip stitch then you're going to do your chain three here as well so that's your first double crochet all right so then you have to do three more so there's two and then here's your last one but now we're not going to finish this one off okay because what we have to do here is we have to break this we have to separate this because this is where we're going to join our next color so you're going to pick your color and I'm just going to get my peach here alright and I'm just going to basically go ahead and I'm going to make my Slipknot and I go ahead and slide that on all right make sure all that snug and I just kind of work mine on the table a little bit so I can keep all of my strands nice and tight alright so basically you just want to get all of that pulled through make sure this is nice and snug turn that over you want to separate this and I am going to tie mine as I always do on all my projects a little bit there okay now what you're going to do at this point is you're going to turn and you're going to take this and you can wrap over the top you can take your tails and wrap up the top and then you're just going to start building your blocks so you're going to chain up six okay and now what you're going to do is you're going to start working back into that fourth chain from the hook again and you're just going to start like we were doing before okay so what you'll do is you'll start doing your double crochet and fourth chain in the hook from the hook and then you'll work on the next two down from it like we were doing so a double crochet in the next two okay turn this back around like I had it all right and now you're going to go to this next space and you're going to slip stitch because you want to join those and then you're going to do your chain three because that's the beginning stitch of your block and then you're going to put in three double crochet here so there's one two and three okay now you've got to keep going across we've got to keep connecting okay so you've got to jump to here and you got to do a slip stitch here to join that one to that one and then you're going to chain up three and that's your first double crochet so now you've got to put three in here to make this block okay so that's four now we still have one more we need to join so you want to jump to that beginning space there with a slip stitch and chain up three now you want to put three double crochet in the sand

[611.79]
okay and now you can separate if you want to do your next color you can just pull that little end piece back out right there and do like we just did you'll take your next color and you'll make your hoop to go on get on a nice and you'll take a separate your next color and then you'll pull that through and then you'll just tie that on there like that and you're ready to go for your next row so then you'll just turn this around and I'll weave in these ends in a bit so then you'll just start counting back up to six okay and then you'll work back down until you get into your fourth chain from the hook and do that double crochet okay and then you'll double crochet in the next 2 chains below that because you're making your next block so every row that you go you're going to add an additional block so that means you're going to have to jump over to that space gap there from that chain 3 and do a slip stitch to join those and then you're going to have to chain up 3 and now you're going to make your next block by doing 3 double crochet and with that chain 3 okay okay so that one's done so you want to jump over to this next one do a slip stitch chain up 3 and then put 3 double crochet here

[738.86]
okay we got another one so we're going to jump over do a slip stitch and chain up three and then put the redouble crochet

[758.3]
and then on the end one you're going to do a slip stitch and chain up three and you keep on changing color every row if that's what you want to do okay so basically you're going to do this until you get to the road that has nine blocks okay and you can keep on changing color and what I'm going to do is I'm going to change color until I get every other row until I get up to my ninth or my row that has nine blocks and then the rest of it I'll do one solid color on that way you get the feel for it the stripy look and then the other half I'm just going to do solid so we're not concentrating so much on changing color because then we're going to get into decreasing because I've had a lot of requests for how to decrease and then I'm going to show you how to do that so go ahead and do this same procedure until you have a total of nine block so you're just going to keep on building you're going to keep on going out with this a little bit more until you have nine blocks okay so just keep on doing that same procedure and when I get to nine blocks
