hello it's my class and it is Labor Day weekend 2017 and I am at Shaffer farms in Provo County Ohio I am also here with Wharton burger farms who I have just done a couple other videos of and they are doing custom chopping and gonna fill for silage bags here we are right on a state line of Indiana and Ohio right where Indiana 227 in Ohio 177 come together on the State Line Road this corn silage is going into the bags and will be fed to the farms beef herd that they feed out some beef cattle right here at this location on the state line lots of excitement in this video you're gonna see several machines here to start out the chopping is being done with a cost 970 chopper with a 10 row head on it you're also gonna see two JCB fast-track tractors in here and 80 to 80 and a 30 to 30 pulling Myer front and rear unload wagons and there's also going to be a Case IH 235 Magnum tractor with a meyer wagon that belongs to the Shaffer farms everything else belongs to Wharton burgers and also you're gonna see a new hall and t8 tractor on the egg bag Aggie 6170 egg bag the silage bags they are filling in this video are 250 foot long and it takes them about three hours per bag to fill and then it's about a half-hour change over time from moving from one full bag to start another one each bag holds approximately 350 ton of corn silage anyhow I got several more minutes of video ahead of you from the air and from the ground in the cab on the side of the chopper so sit back and relax and enjoy [Music]
